bunch of new photos up at my flickr page after a day of taking pictures and seeing john "ian mckay" vanderslice in montreal.
it was an awesome show, you should see him if he comes close to you... and he probably is judging by his tour schedule.
i am starting to learn about longer exposure times and how to use my camera on the manual setting. fun stuff.

I am a middle school teacher with about a 10 years of experience in the classroom teaching Language Arts, History, and Humanities. I believe that by providing them with real connections between the curriculum and the world around us, students experience more ownership and authenticity in their learning. they were great...i picked up an album of theirs too and it is real nice.
i was going to contact you to let you know about the bennington show - it was too far for me but i would have liked to go.
